In Makhachkala, a solemn ceremony was held to hand over the long-awaited keys to apartments to law enforcement officers who needed improved living conditions. The cherished dream of 169 families of police officers, who had long been standing in line for the long-awaited square meters, fulfilled. The commissioning of a departmental home is a real event for the region. The construction of a 12-storey residential building on Kadiev Street in Makhachkala, SMU-55, commenced at the end of 2013. The customer of this object was the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan. All apartments are made “turnkey” with all the requirements. The house is equipped with a modern elevator shaft, there are children’s and sports grounds in the courtyard, and special ramps for people with disabilities are also provided.
The keys to the new housing were handed to the new settlers by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Dagestan, Lieutenant General of Police Abdurashid Magomedov. The Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region congratulated the families on their long-awaited housewarming and thanked the builders for not only showing high quality in the construction of the apartment building, but also doing it with soul.
“We all understand that housing is a very important part of our life, and therefore together with you we are happy to provide these apartments, which many of you have been waiting for a very long time. After all, 15-20 years is a great time. The house is very cozy, durable, as they say, built for ages. I would like to wish your life to become more fun with getting flats, it’s better that these houses bring you happiness, ”the Minister said.
Director General of OJSC “SMU-55” Igor Oldakovsky, in turn, reminded the audience about the importance of home for each person.
“About three years the construction lasted. It was hard, but not only for us. I saw with my own eyes how the situation in the republic is changing for the better thanks to the efforts of law enforcement officers so that you live in peace and quiet. We tried very hard, put all our experience and efforts, in my opinion, we succeeded. I hope in this house you will be really warm and cozy, ”the director of the construction organization said.
After handing over the keys to happy families and awarding employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and construction companies, the red ribbon was cut. Then the guests were able to inspect the apartments in which the staff will live.
The Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic personally got acquainted with the improvement of the house by visiting one of the apartments. All apartments with a fine finish: parquet, wallpaper, interior doors, metal entrance door, the floor of the bathroom is covered with ceramic tiles, all bathrooms are equipped with necessary sanitary ware.
“This is incredible happiness for us. We have been waiting for this moment for so long, almost 20 years. I can not believe that I waited for this, and now I will live in my apartment! – The happy owner of the apartment, Emir Gadzhiyeva, who is the head of the department in the communications center, shared her joy. “Thank you very much to the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.”
